we have 1 photographer and 1 videographer, no assistants...i think we'll tip them $100 each and buy their $50 vendor meal

I had a photographer all day, photojournalist in the morning through the end of the cocktail hour and then he stayed longer even though we didn't ask him and an asst.I gave the main photographer $100
The photojournalist $75
the asst $40 - 50 - don't remember exactly

I tipped 150..but if I could redo it..i would have tipped half the day of and the rest when I got the proofs..

My photographer is the owner of the company.I am tipping his assistant $50 and feeding both of them.d

My photographers owned the company but I gave them a $300 tip. They were great and took awesome pictures and I would have given them more if I could have : ).

I have 2 photographers with 2 assistants. My photos are $$$$, so I am only tipping $50 for each & feeding them.

I had two photogaphers. One was the owner, the other was for candids. I planned to give to give him $150, and her $100, but they left before I could tip them! I plan to give it to them when I pick up my proofs.

Am I the only one who booked Duet? My contract says I need to tip them 10%, which works out to be $100 for 2 photographers and 1 videographer. I think that's a bit steep. Is that something I have to do or a guideline?
