Thank you all..I know hes not suffering anymore ( he had a lot of heart troubles/arthritis) , but I dont know how to move on, or think of my future, it hurts so much...when will it stop hurting so much?
He was like a father to me, as mine wasnt there at all...and I cant imagine a party or holiday without him...I dont know why this has to hurt so much.
i was going to post about this today... When DOES the pain stop. Im sorry i dont have any words of wisdom, but i've been feeling the same way lately (and its almost a year since i lost my grandmother). Its at its roughest now... still new, like a fresh sting. i think time makes it a little easier.... well, not easier, but some days its just easier to overlook than others. Im sooooo sorry, Donna

Please guys, just pray for me, Because Im really not doing so well. I cant stop crying, and I feel so lost. HE was so young, only 48 and lived next door with my mom so I feel like a daily part of my life is gone, and I cant find a way to accept this all.
Im gonna stop now, Im sorry to be so sad..THANKS everyone, I appreciate it more then you know....

Re: Please pray for me and my family...
ok, this might be the worst advice ever... but this is what *kinida* worked for me.cry
then cry
then cry some more.
and then when you think you're done, look at pictures and listen to sad songs, and cry even more. and then get angry, and frustrated, and EVERY other emotion you can think of or feel. Let it ALLLLLL out! don't try to be strong, just ride the roller coaster. and then write down how youre feeling. and start thinking about the good times and the happy, and you will start to smile, and eventually, you might find the smallest feeling of Peace.
i'm sorry that there isnt anything i can say or do to make it better, but please know that we're all here for you

Re: Please pray for me and my family...
Donna,First
and
to you and your family.I got chills when I read about you pulling over for the ambulance as a similar incident happened when my mother was hit by a car. My brother (age 4), and myself (age 8) were a few blocks away. I remember my brother asking me about the ambulance as it raced passed us and, like a voice from God, I said to him 'they are for Mommy'. What made me know that I will never know.
As a person who spent months with my Dad at a hospital and a rehabilitation center please do not beat yourself up for what you wish you could have done for your uncle. It will tear you apart. I used to blame myself for not living with my Dad at the time he had his stroke and used to tell myself, 'If I only found him and got him to the hospital faster. I would have know what proceedures to demand immediately.' What really counts are the moments that you shared love and joy with your uncle throughout your entire life. He must have been so happy and proud to see you get married. I know it's hard not to obsess on the last few moments of one's life and what they went through but honestly, we will never know.
I truly believe he is a peace now after suffering for so many years. It is not for us to understand but sometimes I believe that those who are the best among us are taken prematurely because they can do so much more for us in the next life than they can from Earth. I know in my heart that my mother has done infinitely more than she could for me from Heaven than she could while on this Earth. I also believe this is true of my brother's best friend who died at 21. Please treasure the moments and memories you had with him. I am sure from the place he is now, he feels no pain and is looking over your family, especially you and your mother, and is so grateful for the time he had with you.
I will keep your family in my prayers and wish you peace and strength in this difficult time.
ETA: Don't think about the future right now. You can't. I've been there. Just getting through the next five minutes can be excrutiating. The pain you feel right now is natural. Take one moment at a time, then one hour, then one day. Unfortunately, this pain is necessary and actually healthy. You must get it out at your own pace and do what is good for you.
Be good to yourself at this time. Don't expect too much of yourself. This natural turning in emotionally is a necessary, although incredibly difficult, part of the grieving process. Take one moment at a time.
