Wedding planning is so stressful!!!
Sometimes FH and I talk about the wedding and we argue. Then it is just added stress between arguing and planning. I feel like I'm going crazy!
So, don't feel like you are alone because you so are not!

yes i fight with my FH more as well. we never fought before and now we do. we also have the added stress, that both of us dont really want a wedding and that this is more for our families. also we are not in the same country and we have a few more important issues (like immigration) to deal with that is .

i think i fight with my mom more b/c i didnt think this wedding would put such a halt in my life and i blame her all the time. my orginal plan was to get married in australia (where i was living before here), and come home for the holidays. i was suppossed to be back in australia by now, looking for an ESL teaching job, where in that country i am certified, but not here. Now b/c of immigration issues and we decided not to get married in a private ceremony, b/c all my mom did was give me guilt trips if i did, i feel like i am stuck here.

b/c i am so unhappy in my life, b/c of this whole mess, it has a huge stress on my relationship with FH and my mom. and it isnt a pretty situation.

that has been fighting more with their FH since the engagement? I'm not sure what it is but we are finding fault with each other more than ever and it is upsetting me so much. I think it is partially because FH hates to talk about money and that seems to be all we are talking about lately. Am I the only one?

Yeah we had a LOT of fights once we became engaged. Its mostly stress. Money is an issue, two people living together, work, etc.... We've broken up at least a half a dozen times. Mind you the break up last like three hours and we're cuddling again. Apologizing for all the harsh things we said.

Hey Katie...Don't worry! As everyone else has said, totally normal. FH already had a couple near nervous breakdowns about money. It's such an exciting - but REALLY stressful - time!

You're definitely not the only one. We've been fighting a lot more too. It's all the wedding stress. Maybe you guys should take a weekend w/o any wedding stuff to just hang out, relax, and enjoy each other's company... stress-free.

yeah we have been going thru some rough patches too.... but from what i hear its normal...

... so just take a step back and focus on the relationship rather than the wedding - thats the most important thing.

You're not the only one. FH & I have been fighting over the most stupid things - and I do mean stupid. There is the occasional wedding related fight (ie: money), but mostly stupid stuff that means absolutely nothing!

You have no clue how much fighting we did right after the engagement!!!! I seriously almost called off the wedding. My advice, be patient and talk things out. Don't give up. Things will get better but you have to work at it.

we had a lot of problems the first couple of months,,i think it was realization of the big step we were making, so we took a step back, changed our original date and decided to not let this wedding take away from the fact we are getting married and thats the most important, the money was getting ridiculous..so we downsized somethings and i have to say it is much more exciting and less stressful now...its normal to fight about it, just make sure to keep focus on the fact you 2 are getting married, not just the wedding day

Its the stress of the planning and thr big financial weight but when its all said and done the fighting will stop.
