Cake server, because that is something I would never buy myself. Most people have salad tongs at home.

I would use either. But I choose cake server because I don't have one.

oh and I just asked my FH without telling him what I choose. He picked the cake server too. He said that cake is for special occasions so you need a fancy server. Salad is an everyday thing that doesn't need something as nice as those salad tongs. Just a male opinion.

LOL - I think all men think alike because my FH said the Cake Server also!
