Here is what happened with the magenta couches - Hidly SPRAY PAINTED (hello) the couches magenta. The guy on her team was miserable because he hated it so much. They were in Seattle and left them outside overnight to dry and it rained all night long. So the couches were ruined and they went way over budget to replace their couches. Thankfully, she were not re-painted that nasty magenta.

Another Hildy train wreck - the bedroom where everything was Tiffany box blue.

Yeah, I agree about Hilde - I hate a most of the stuff she does, esp. one where she broke the room off into quarters and made everything in 2 quadrants a purpleish color and the other two quadrants in a magenta. And then she glued broken glass to the fireplace and used grout matching the color of the quadrant to fill it in. I would be so ****ed.
Yeah, the straw drawn on the walls in pastel alos seemed really dumb.
And I have to say I despised the Home Theater room by Doug. So, what the heck do they do if they want to stretch out on the couch to watch TV or maybe interact with other people?

There was one where the one designer that isn't on anymore did an attic room yellow and make a faux grass bed w/ flowers on it that looked like a cemetary. Then she had a swing bench & a picket fence in the room.

Oh I am a fan of that show and I have hated a lot of the rooms! I agree w/ the 'flower power' theme, the hay on the walls, and the moss ones.
Remember the one when Hilde put a self-portrait of HERSELF on someone's dining room wall?!?! I would vomit if I had to eat and look at her face everyday!

Did anyone see when the older woman started to cry when she walked in her living room. She told Paige,'I think I should leave.' She left her mic on and you could hear her crying!! The show was titled 'They Hated It' haha it was so funny. I saw when the show was in Huntington. The mother and daughter got into a fight with Doug bc they wanted to go out that night and not do their homework. Their boyfriends came over and did it for them

I hate Hilde, Frank, Genivieve, and Laurie. I don;t think Lauries rooms and Verns rooms are that bad.

Once Doug (maybe) did a couple's apartment with red circles all over the walls. It was disgusting!!!

Anything by Hildi!!! How can she live with herself after she destroys peoples homes! I don't understand how Hildi and Doug don't really care whether the home owners like it or not. They are always like, 'well then they shouldn't have come on the show.' So many times they totally disregard what the home owners have told them. I would be so ****ed!

I saw another Las Vegas reveal commercial today & it had Hilde, Doug & Amy Wynne!!! So I think they are the designers!!! OMG the poo is gonna fly!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say the wall with her face painted on it also. that was cheesy and pathetc. Iwould have asked for a few buckets of paint and primer so i could get started painting over it as soon as they left.. YUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked the rust (patina) wall. I hate most of Hilde's designs - those that stand out as especially awful are the circus tent and tiffany room. Also Frank's too country and Doug tries to hard to be controversal.

i usually like vern - he blew it with the red and white room i thought. i think the space was too small for it.

hildy is obviously terrible. I would back out of the show if they told me it was her, I really would.

Frank though is the worst. When he made that tiki bar-room with the karaoke stage?!?! and a canoe couch? it was like a freaking miniature golf course in there. i hate his theme crap.

But let us not forget why we are watching of course....our favorite carpenter ty....i mean....obviously. how DARE they throw amy lynn in there?!?! who wants to see her?!?!

Oh my god, that Hilde wall is awful!!

Does anyone remember the one where Doug found that picture of the homeowner in that leather outfit and blew it up and put it on the wall??? OMG! She seemed OK with it but what was he thinking?

I agree with LisaT, Doug does try to be controversial. I love Vern's designs with wood though, very stream lined, cool looking hutches, cabinets, etc.
