I never thought that my relationship with you girls would develop so much on so many different levels. For the most part, I am very happy that I have met some of you girls and that we all have a lot in common (even those that I have not met in person). The truth is that without you ladies, this wedding planning would definitely not be so much fun! Although, there are still a few people that I like to stay clear from...

I wouldn't really say that my first impressions of people of changed so much, I kind of started everyone off on a blank slate. Then as I got to know everyone I developed opinions, a few bad, but for the most part I can honestly say that I can find many good things about everyone here.

GTGs are the best and really make this whole process of wedding planning and meeting new people online an even more rewarding experience. I never would've thought that we'd hit it off so well after only really talking to each other over the Internet, but when we GTG I feel like we've all known eachother for years!!

ditto. There are some people whose posts I have always loved to read - or who I am very happy when they respond to my posts because they are just a breathe of fresh air. There were a few people who I thought were a bit insensitive with what they posted at first, but they don't bother me anymore (not sure if that is just me getting a thicker shell or them toning it down!)

I am a pretty easy going person - so I like everyone here - some people I discovered are so funny I nearly pee my pants when I'm on here, but I never had preconceived notions coming in - just wanted to have a good time!!!!

i think my impressions have changed for the best mostly - there are very few people who i dislike and there are alot of people i look forward to reading there posts b/c they crack me up!!

i love this site and think its been great for all the planning and just realizing your not alone - its great having people to talk to who understand all the stress!

i wish i had been to more GTG's to really get to know everybody!!

ETA: i think part of the problem is that through posts it is difficult to determine inflection/tone etc so some people appeared to be mean/nasty when they were actually just being sarcastic and i didnt realize it until after seeing frequent posts.

Since I spent more time on the 05 board, my answer really applies to the 05 girls than to my new friends here on the 06 board.

For the most part above and beyond my expectations, I was never a girly girl, most of my best friends are male, so I never thought I would get along with a few let alone the vast majority.

Last year when I had my surgery, so many of the girls prayed for me, supported me checked in on me, in some ways more than my 'real' world friends.

There have been a select few who I knew from their first few posts exactly who or how they would be and they proved me right, so while yes first impression can be wrong, sometimes first impression totally ring true.

I wasn't too sure about posting on this site at first. Now that I have, I am addicted. I love the support and tips I get from everyone here. It's a great group of ladies!

I have never met any of you, so I never really formed a first impression.

I don't think you can get an acurate impression from someones typed thoughts. I, myself, have a very sarcastic sense about me, and I think that my not- so- serious replies to some posts have sort of spoiled some peoples impressions of me.
But I still like everyone on here, because I don't know any of you well enough to dislike you.

I would say the majority for the better. A lot of people will contact you via FM with really helpful info. I love that.
