When people post pics of themselves for no apparent reason other than to solicit comments about how pretty and skinny they are. I guess they are just insecure, but I don't get it.

I kinda like to see pics of people- it helps to put a face to the 'online personality'.. but I guess there are sometimes when it is just for no apparent reason..

1. maybe I'm a drama whore - but usually drama happens when I actually do some work.
Then I log back on and everyone is posting other threads about that drama thread... but it's pulled before I have a chance to read what its about.

Frustrating because I only spend 10-20 minutes a day doing work.

2. I don't like the 'vendor hunting' threads. I think its a waste - anytime I see this I do this

YEs, don;t you think that instead of pulling drama threads (and I can now speak freely without fear of retribution since bunnymonkey's hypocrisy has been exposed) should cease -- better to quarantine them where they could not infect anyone else but should be available for further comment and study?

Drama threads should not be pulled! If peeps don't like the drama, they should just ignore it. It keeps those of us with boring jobs laughing...

If someones starts drama with me, there is no way I am backing down. i want DRAMA up to my elbows when it is warranted, dammit!

That, and when it seems that someone is purposly starting drama. Sometimes it happens on accident, yes, but sometimes i swear people post just to get a rise out of ya... And those posts i choose to ignore

Yes! It is the LIW gods - sometimes they pull them just as things are getting wild, and other times, it is after the fact, i guess when they catch it.

I agree!! Although they make me burst out laughing sometimes, and that's beginning to blow my cover at work

my other pet peeves:
- people who speak down to others, and use a condescending tone-> eventhough you're on a computer, you're still talking to real people! And if you were that much of a genius that you can speak down to people, go discover a cure for cancer and leave us dumba$$'s to have our fun on LIW

when threads get hijacked- ok, I am the BIGGEST culprit of this, so during my lunch break, I will drag myself out side and kick my own a$$- I promise! (it doesnt bother me on the 05 board, but I look at this as more for general convo w/ each other, but on BHB, I go there for a broader perspective, and it gets frustrating sometimes).

ok... ill think of more to complain about later... my fallopian tubes are killing me, so i'll be whiney all day

I enjoy hijacking threads... especially when someone breaks out that fun picture...
