No way Jose! I show him pictures online of dress styles that I like -- just to get his feedback - but that will be it.

I saw that episode last night and FH was watching it with me and both of us said no way at the same time !!! The one FH was really annoying about what dress she should wear, he shot her down on every dress she loved.... i really felt bad

Some brides on 'Say Yes to the Dress' have their FHs come with them dress shopping. I don't even want FH to see the stock photo of my dress before our wedding day, nevermind me IN the dress.

Did you/Are you going to take your FH dress shopping with you??

Absolutely NOT!!!!! I'm very traditional and my mother would kill me if I ever did such a thing!! Plus, I would love to see his face when we see's me walking down the aisle with my dress on for the first time.... it will be priceless.

I totally agree.. I specifically wanted 2 photographers for our wedding JUST so they could make sure they capture me walking down the aisle and his face as soon as he sees me for the first time! I would never allow him to come shopping with me or know anything about how I will look that day!

FH will not be coming with me shopping for my dress..the 1st time he sees me I will be walking down the aisle

ITA!

I second that!! If he sees any dresses, they're ones that I'd never choose for myself.

no way!! i think those couples are so messed up, if you cant pick out your wedding gown by yourself, in my opinion your a little tooo dependant on your man. It ruins the whole suprise of the day I think, if FH is seeing you in the dress prior too then whats so special about it?

hmmmm im sorry to crash, but i think this is a bit rude to say-
i almost did take fh shopping, bc i was getting so frustrated
and i showed him a thousand pictures of my dress..not bc im 'dependent' on him, but bc i was excited
and what's special about it? that im marrying my fh and he will be my dh..a dress is a piece of fabric when it comes down to it

Re: Question inspired by 'Say Yes to the Dress'

Not that I am a traditional person but I just really want that wow factor on the day of our wedding. Very few people will see my dress until the day of the wedding. I want the wow factor from everyone. I dont think my FH would want to go anyway
