we're paying for ours....neither of our parents said anything about them chipping in and i dont know what to askor how to ask them if they are.....maybre we'll drop some hints here and tehre....

well ok here's the breakdown
FH and I reception/cermony costs and evrything else
my mom and dad- my gown and accessories, dj and florist
my sponsers ( filipino tradition) video/photo

both of our parents are paying for the majority of the wedding...we are responsible for the photography, honeymoon and wedding bands

The catering is both of our parents, and the rest is all us...its going to be tough but we will be able to do it

Same here..out parents split the caterer 50/50 and we have everything else

We are though my parents want to pay for it. Some of it at least. But we want to do it our way. This is the only way it can be accomplished.

We are paying for almost all of it. My parents are putting some in for the hall and his parents will probably help out later on too.

We did pay for our wedding then our parents gave us monetary gifts after.

FI and I are paying for most of it. My parents will contribute when they can. My parents paid for my dress, veil and headpiece. I'm not really expecting much from his parents. I know my parents will help with what else they can, but I am one of six children and the first to get married,.

our parents and we'll probably pitch in for some of the extras that we want.

i know traditionally the girl's parents pay, but what if the the wedding is being held in the groom's hometown and most of the guests are from his side?
