Questions for East Wind Brides... - Long Island Weddings

Are you having a day or an evening wedding? We are Saturday April 18th 1-6pm and we had to guarantee 125 people. Did you book with them yet? The estate is not all inclusive it is per person. I am soooooooooo excited!!

Questions for East Wind Brides... - Long Island Weddings

Oh Wow Christine I was planning to take the April 19th spot from 1 to 6! lol!

Oh it's not all inclusive?! Thanks for that info! I'm def sticking with the Veranda then! LOL If I do 1 to 6 they said there might another wedding going on. I'm thinking of paying the extra 1500 to have a twilight wedding so no one else can be there! But I'll have to check my budget!

My parents and his parents are going to check this place out and then from there we should be finalizing in the next 2 weeks! I also wanted to try the food soon so I'm going to schedule all of us to go to the expo next month!

I think we were given a credit towards bouquets but ended up paying additional for it for ones that we liked.

Yeah I am! It was either the 19th, the 26th, or the 12th. Me and my fiance thought it would be wiser to do it closer to May. I'm so glad to hear the weather is always beautiful on that day. I was unsure if I made the right decision but now I feel better about the date!

Hey Christine! I was going to go to the showcase for the food but they said it's going to be a small amount so I'm coming in for a private tasting this Thursday. They said the April one will be bigger and better. I don't want to deter from going...just passing on the word!

But I still wanna go to the showcase to meet the vendors and such!

Yes! I went to this one last year i think it's the metropolitan bridal expo so its hosted by outside vendors. I went last year there was hardly any food :( Go to the one in April and you will have much more luck! Or request a private tasting.

Thanks. I saw Tommy's Tunes was going to be performing again so I was thinking of going just to see them again since I just booked with them. LOL I definitely want to go to the one in April to see what it looks like the month we will be getting married. I am surprised they said it is going to be a small amount of food. I guess it varies depending on how many people say they are going. I didn't know they do private tastings.. thats pretty cool but I think the food is amazing just based on what we had at the last showcase. I pretty much have all my major vendors, just need florist. Are any of you going with their florist at east wind?
