I was wondering how the florist is at East Wind. Anyone try them?

BTW Christine did you like Tommy Tunes better than the other vendor East Wind recommended?

I'm using their florist, it comes with the all inclusive package (well, centerpieces anyway). I have spoken with them at showcases and they're very nice. I still have to set up a meeting to talk other flowers.

I booked Tommy's Tunes too! FH and I just clicked with Tommy, he's awesome! LI Sound was good too, their photobooth is so much fun! But, we just liked Tommy better!

I didn't get any prices from them, since I had already booked with Tommy's tunes.

I guess I will make an appointment with East Wind's Florist to see pricing and everything. I liked Tommy's Tunes better than the other vendor. I had seen that other vendor at a wedding I've been to and I really wasn't impressed at all...I don't feel they really got everyone going. I read a lot of reviews for Tommy's Tunes and didn't see one negative review.

Tommy Tunes just called me today to set up an appointment! They were super friendly on the phone and hearing the great reviews I'm excited to meet them!

I used Tommy's tunes and they were awesome! We had the one man DJ/MC and used Dominick - he was exactly what we wanted, not obnoxious or in your face and played a perfect mix. We also had a percussionist that everyone loved. We didn't go with a photobooth (so glad I didn't btw, I really think it would've kept ppl off the dance floor) but he quoted us $800 for it.

OMG Just came back from taste testing at East Wind and wow everything was so delicious! First and foremost they accommodated me, my fiance, his parents and mine at Desmonds for the tasting. Everything was on them (including a round of drinks) and our wedding coordinator Elise came down during the meal to make sure everything was going well.

The salmon with risotto was awesome. I don't eat meat but everyone was RAVING about the dijon chicken and NY strip. They gave us such generous portions so if anyone hasn't tried the food I suggest setting up a private tasting. I'm even more excited about East Wind!!

BTW ladies did anyone meet with the photography companies and went over their packages? I wanted to know what they include and such. How much would be to upgrade to video? Same with the DJ options. Thanks!

I requested one before booking! I found most places would let me do a tasting before booking.

So they will do it for you even after you book? I am thinking maybe as our wedding gets closer I will try and set one up so this way we can decide on our menu. We tried some of the stuff at the showcases and OMG their food is amazing
