Reception Halls

I was wondering if anyone had any information for me about the Thatched Cottage, Michael's Bridal Mansion in Sayville and the Riverview Restaurant in Oakdale. I loved the Thatched Cottage and it's my first choice but the other are a couple of inexpensive alternatives. They both look nice but how's the food, service, etc?

Thanks

My girlfriends house on LI was robbed the night of her wedding they think because the bands of marriage was announced at the church the week before. It follows the same pattern as obituaries--I know this is sad but it is something to think about--Your full name and wedding date can zero you in on trouble.

Reception Halls

My sister was married at a beach in Blue Point and then had her reception at the Riverview. The food was great, the service was excellent and everyone had a marvelous time. This was about 3 years ago but I know that they have always had a great reputation.

We have had hero's brought in by certain clubs and we have been banned from eating at the cocktail hour at others. Each has their own rules. At leaast you are concerned.

I noticed groom's cakes are very popular in the South.
