Re: Reception Prices

I don't think it is impossible...but you and your FU should be flexible with the date or even the month. I had to change months due to another wedding I am in. Also by changing the weekend off labor day I saved almost $20 a head. And since FI and I are paying for the wedding as well, we decided on what was right and appropiate for us and the people who want to be there will deal with what you chose. Good Luck hunny.

Swan Club

BRINDISI

Actually have you thought of a weekend wedding? We were considering it (for a brief moment) What about having a week end celebration in Southampton & having the wedding at a Local restaurat like 75 Main? This would also cut your guest list if that's a concern... There are party boats, the only one that fits that budget is Nautical Princess out of Freeport

Try even a Thursday night....most places have really cheap prices on Thursdays, even in the summer. Good luck!

Hi Girls,
I'm getting a little depressed already and I just started my wedding planning a week ago! It seems like everything is going wrong.
My parents are being so difficult with the month we picked and FH and I are the one paying for the wedding. They want it to be a warm month!! Of course, warm month come with higher price.
Is it unrealistic to find a recetion place for $80/pp in June? Please be honest!!

I think it's next to impossible.....If they want it to be in June tell them they need to HELP! You pay for what YOU can afford!!!
XOXOXO
Kitty

I totally agree!!

Re: Reception Prices

west lake inn -65-75 p/p prices don't change for the season.
they are renovating the outside aug.-oct.this year, which it could use, b/c it looks like a cabin, but if your are planning for next summer it will perfect...the inside is so pretty & the cocktail & reception room are so big.....definately try to stop by there...

Re: Reception Prices

You can also try Sunset Harbour. I found it for $70 + tax and grat though the prices have gone up. Can't hurt trying. Also East Wind is about $90-110 depending upon the meal. This is for a May, *Memorial Day Weekend wedding, Saturday night.
