Hi Guys, Is anyone having their reception or have been at the Coral House or Mediterranean Manor? If so, how was the staff, food and photo opportunities?

What type of cards exactly are you looking for? Do you want them to have a printed saying on them or just a gift card with a wedding pattern or something just saying "A Gift For You"?? There are different kinds of them and I wasn't sure which you were looking for?

Stephanie

My fiance and I are having our reception at the coral house. I found the hall decor to be cozy. My fiance and I love to be "cozy" and that is what it felt like when I saw it. It isn't the most fancy atmosphere but to each his own. As for the staff, the banquet manager we dealt with was really nice, Linda. She didn't push us or anything. In fact, she told us to look around a lot and come to a decision. They also let us taste some of the selections they offer (which is a lot) and we thought they were really good. We had 2 of my sisters with us when we went and they were really nice to them and gave them some food to try too! I've heard that the photo opps are pretty good there. They have really nice flowers all over the grounds. Coral house is not for everybody but we liked it. They didn't really push any vendors either!!

Coral House

As Gwen mentioned, it was really cozy! It definitely has a unique atmosphere, a helpful staff, and the picture opportunities seem great!

Coral House

I have been to weddings and various functions at the Coral House and found it overall to be a three ring circus in the lobby area etc. One function I attended was one of three parties in the afternoon. I believe a wedding was the second function and a little league baseball reception the thrid. Well, there were kids running all over, the noise level was unbearable and there were kids playing ball right outside the door. I have also been to a night wedding and experienced the same chaos. Don't mean to offend anyone but its somethng to think about- just my experience....

The JCPenny catalog ones run $30 to $35-ish.
