Re: Registering
I'm thinking if you're having an e-party I would register b4 it, so that maybe guests can give you gift certificates or something from your registry. If you're not having one then I would say 5 months b4 the wedding as Bridal showers are usually 4-1 months before the wedding....
I will be registering at Macy's and Bed Bath and BeyondXOXOXOXO

Re: Registering
for my shower, my mom is giving me a bed and bath shower (since we basically have everything for a home already), so I will register at BB&B.we are also thinking of doing a honeymoon registry.

I am going to register at 2 places. I think Macys and Bed Bath & Beyond. I figured I will probably register in the summer sometime. A year before.

Re: Registering
I am not registering until the end of the year or next year. I know its tradtional to register for your engagemnet party, but we decided not to. Both my cousina dn my FH's cousin, who are getting married the same year but before us didn't register either. We would prefer money to help us out with the wedding. But when I do register I will be doing it at 2-3 places so people have more choices

Re: Registering
We're registering at Fortunoff this weekend and then at Crate & Barrell sometime late 2006. I've read that C&B stuff gets discontinued a lot and so, we decided to go with Fortunoff first. 3 days after our engagement was announced, people started asking us where we're registered
I also have a number of out-of-town guests but Fortunoff does have online registry too!
As for variety, I was first against registering at Fortunoff b/c I had an impression that Fortunoff only carries $$ things. But, after touring the store with my FMIL, I was convinced to register there.

Re: Registering
We registered at Macy's and BBB....and we did like right after we got engaged because my mother said that all of my great aunts would be looking for engagement gifts to give me.
