Rings - Flea Market - Sayville

HI Folks: Some of you told me to check out the flea market/jewelry exchange in Sayville. Well, we went on Sunday and found our rings. There is a guy in there that moved out here from the Busy Bee flea market in Massapequa. Nicest people. My band was 670.00 and my fiance's was 365. What I didn't realize that they were then knocked to 1/2 price. My band has the (sqaure diamonds around) - Woops - forget what they are called and it matches my engagement ring. They are giving it to me for 345.00 and my fiance bought his for 145 from 365 and his is gorgeous, no diamonds, but white gold and etching (braided) inside. I highly recommend it and it's waranteed. I saw a flaw in one of my diamonds and they ordered me a new ring.

Just an FYI: My sister had her reception at the Timber Point Country Club 5 years ago. People are still talking about it. What a great place, awesome time, great staff - Unbelievable food! Don't worry about a thing! It's beautiful there and you have it all to yourself. We had a great time and it was pretty and cozy and the pictures in front of the fireplace, as well as, out on the golf course, were awesome

How's it going hun?? I know we are in the straight-away now :)

Hey Kate I am coming from Queens by the belt parkway could you tell me how I would get to the flea market?

Thanks

ARRGGH! but, what we did is hire 2 crews of photogs. I figured it was worth the little extra $$ if it saves us time & this way we are guarenteed to get pics of everyone! BTW, I will not see Rob until I walk down the aisle...so no pre ceremony pics together.

Take the LIE (495) out to Suffolk County. I would say get off at exit 59 going South. Take that road, which I believe is Ocean Avenue south to Sunrise Highway. I believe whern you get to Sunrise Highway (27), you will head West to Broadway. Correct me Birdes if I am wrong!!

If you wish to take Sunrise Highway out, it's easier. Take that to Broadway, which I believe is Exit 55 on Sunrise Highway. When you get off on the ramp, make a right at the light and there it is.

What are the average prices out there you all are paying for a photographer? Would be greatly appreciated if anyone could give me an idea. Estimates I have range from $2500-$3300 (includes albums and the like). This seems quite high. Was expecting to pay $2000 max. Was I wrong?

Take the Belt to Southern State. From there get off the exit for "27 East" That is Sunrise Highway. get on the main hwy until you get to the exit for "Lincoln Avenue" (It's just after K-Mart, which will be on your left-K-Mart, that is). Go straight on the service road past the 1st light. The Flea market is right after Sayville Ford and Donaldsons VW. Good Luck! We picked out our rings there on a Sunday Morning right after they opened, and beat the crowds. We got matching white and yellow 14k gold bands (no stones), and paid $225 for both. We used Elegant Jewelry Co. They are right at front of the East Entrance.

Give yourselves alot of time to look, since there are A LOT of jewelers there.

Thanks SUE!!!!!

You know what, if they want to accomodate you, they will work with you and help. ASK!

Just a note, I'll be walking down a 90 foot aisle, and I thought that was long! LOL
