I was told that mine would arrive in August.

Just called the bridal store. She said that the gown would be in at the end of the month.

Should I start getting nervous now?

I would keep on top of them -- if you get it by the end of the month you should be ok.

When we picked the date, my FH said 'Are you sure that you're OK with getting married on the 13th?' I said 'Yes..I was born on the 13th'.

He smiled and said that he will remember our anniversary...it is exactly one month before my birthday.

My dress has lace short sleeves. Not sure what the weather will be...a little cool perhaps?

Oct. 13th Bride here! I received 1 RSVP in the mail today. It was a no but we need some no's so that's a good thing (though I was a little disappointed to see the no box checked). My dress hasn't arrived yet but should be in 'any day now' as the bridal store has told me.

We sent them out early and made out RSVP date 9/1 (still giving plenty of time to the stragglers and OOT people to finalize their travel plans.....

We've gotten a good amount back....(we're to the point where I'm starting to hope for some 'no's'!!) LOL!

I'd like to get one for my Mom, for FH's Mom, for my MOH, and maybe for my FH.

Also, if you can share what you are getting for your FH (only if he doesn't look at this website).

We originally decided on a string quartet for the CH and the reception.

Now, we are thinking that we should have some dance music for part of the reception.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

I bought handkerchief's from ebay. there are a few different vendors on there. I didn't have a whole poem done just 'Mom' or 'Grandma'

do a search...you'll def. find some on there.

Hello All,

I went for my first fitting today.

The dress was a little big. The seamstress has to take it in on both sides. Hip Hip Hooray! Now, I cannot eat anything (tea and toast, perhaps) until the wedding.

Anyone know the process for how long it takes to get after you go in to apply? Is there a waiting period or do you get it that day?
