I would not pay to be on this site. I think that we pay with our information. I have gotten countless mailings and emails from wedding vendors. I understand that is how the site works and that is fine with me, but I wouldn't pay additional money

I agree. And quite frankly, I think the 'fake' brides liven the place up a bit! I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Exactly....

Ron doesn't need CC info to know who the user is. He knows more about you than you think....

If you ever suspect a fake bride just send him an FM...if they are, within minutes he's banned them.

I guess you're right. NOW I would have NO PROBLEM forking over ANY amount of money to use this site since it has been INVALUABLE to me. But I wonder if I would have paid before I was a 'user'. (makes me sound like a druggie! lol).

As long as there's a way to block someone from not being able to sign on under different screen names over and over and over and over... that's cool.

I don't know computers, so I didn't know about the IP thing! Cool!

Really stupid question:

As I only pop on every now and then and read topics of specific interest, what's the deal with the 'fake bride' issue? What do they try to do that makes it so despicable (other than probably not having much of a life)?
