Really stupid question, but when it says __ seats have been reserved in your honor, is that to show that the person is invited with/without a guest and do you fill that part out?

you fill in how many seats so that your guests do not (hopefully) feel inclined to bring anybody they want to. No tag-alongs and uninvited extras.

Took the idea from one of the girls here, hope she doesn't mind but I had to do it this way since my family is known to bring uninvited guests!

We have family and friends that sometimes don't all come together. This gives them the opportunity to have a few accept and a few decline if they want. This works for our situation.
