Re: Setauket Neighborhood House

I've been there- I really like it. My maid of honor had put down a deposit there for her wedding next summer but is now thinking of doing a destination wedding.

I was going to have a prewedding event there- but it wasn't available the day I needed it. The only thing with the neighborhood house is that you aren't allowed to have liquor or beer there- just wine and champagne. My friend has been to a wedding there where the couple had a keg on the porch- if you'd want to do something like that (not sure if they just went ahead and did that or if they checked w/ the neighborhood house first).

I think it accomodates about 100-150 people. There are so many nice places to take pictures around there with the pond and the bridge going to Old Field. Also - there is an arboretum about an 1/8 up from there.

Re: Setauket Neighborhood House

If you are having a small, and I mean small wedding it is nice.
I was actually doing a coworker a favor by helping out and supervisoring her wait staff. They had 120 guest and it was really , reallt , really tight!
They also do not have a really good updated kitchen ( things like no dishwasher) so that hurt the speed of things to.
Overall, like I said, if you or someone you now is planing on havimg a small event then it is very lovely and quiet.
