Re: Skin Problems!!!!

I have really dry skin and have found some great products on www.dermadoctor.com They have skin products for every possible issue and you can search by whatever skin problem you're having.

Re: Skin Problems!!!!

You are not alone. I had the same troubles years ago and changed my diet significantly and good skin care I have the good fortune of clear skin.
For me, I found that soda is my worst culprit and the fast food that I used to eat was a close second.
Try to phase out foods that may be contributing to the problem in addition to advice from your derm and the LIW ladies.

Re: Skin Problems!!!!

Sulfur products work good on breakouts, but you have to be careful not to overdue it because it is drying. I use this stuff called zit be gone (nice name huh?!) and it works pretty good.

i feel your pain! proactive worked for me at first but i got used to it so it stopped working.....look for Panoxyl soap bars in CVS ....they help......also ask your derm about benzaclin......ive heard good things about it

Ive used benzaclin too - that stuff was awesome - i started using it in the summer though, and it made my already sun sensitive skin even more so.

Really, the only skin care line and makeup that I can use is Laura Mercier. I heard that Laura Mercier herself had rosacia (sp?) and bad skin, so that's why she developed her line. Go try it out. You can alway buy it and return it if you don't like it. I highly recommend Michelle at the Bloomingdale's counter at Roosevelt Field. She's a SWEETHEART, and will be so honest about what you need! Good luck!

I second this - I LOVE Laura Mercier products... her concealer 'Secret Camouflauge' is AMAZING!!! Covers anything from a zit to a freckle to undereye circles.

Re: Skin Problems!!!!

I've been using Acne Free, which is the exact same as Proactiv, only cheaper and you can buy it in Walmart. I love it, I have such bad breakouts, and it has been clearing it up so well
