I'm not nearly as thin as you are, but I am 5'3' and I chose an A Line gown. The ladies at Lillettes ordered it for me in Petite.

hi, i'm just a little under 5'3' and I got my gown at lillettes. they are ordering mine in a petite. dont worry! you'll find something- they have soooo many things to choose from!! and the women that work there know what they're doing! my fh's aunt works there. ask for lydia!!!

nned your help, anyone 5'2' or 5'3'? what are you wearing?? i am going to lillettes in 2 weeks and i have no idea what i can wear. ps - i'm also 97 lbs, so that makes it harder.

pps - for my sisters wedding, i wore a strapless a-line and that seemed to work, but i want to be a bride, not a bm....

i know how you feel i'm 5'3 and weigh 130 now tried on ballgown and felt like i was lost in it it was swallowing me up.

I'm 5'2 and 96 lbs. I tried on mostly A-line and some ballgowns. A-lines worked the best, strapless (especially sweatheart since it gave me some shape). I have 'pick ups' on my skirt it helped give the A-line a little fuller look with out being a ballgown. I went to Kleinfelds and got a Henry Roth. The model picture is in my profile, here's me with it on.

I'm trying on a size 10 and they ordered me a 4 with tons of alterations. They actually said they only get someone my size in every 3 years!

i am shorter than all of you :)
and i wont even get into my weight...

i tried on ballgowns and aline. i was surprised that i could actually pull off a ballgown, it looked pretty good... but i liked a line better, it did not make me feel as short, and it was easier to walk/ move around in...

Hi I know how you feel. I'm 5'1' - 5'2ish and 94 lbs. I already found my dress and it's a strapless a-line. I'm having it altered in the back to make it lower b/c the designer suggested to show a lot of back since I have such a small frame to make me look taller. I felt lost in a ball gown. My dress is very simple too. Try on a bunch and you'll get a feel for what you like and what looks good on you very quickly (at least I did). Let me know what you find!

Beth your dress is beautiful! I tried on a Marisa Gown on Sunday that I really like. I am going to NJ to show it to my Mom on Sunday.

Aren't cups amazing? When I tried on the dress with cups I was like, 'Hey now!' Much cheaper than surgery.

I'm 5ft tall I got my dress from Macy's bridal. Its a demetrios...sposabella collection. they can order the dress hollow to hem for you. Good Luck

i tried on both halter and strapless, and strapless looked better then i thought it would. the sample was a 12 and they really had to pin it to get me to see the full effect, but it really worked. they had to order me a size 2, she said if it came in a 0 she would've ordered a 0.

my dress is a-line, the sales girl didn't even give me a ball gown

I am 5'3 and 110. My dress is mermaid style. I looked lost in the big poofy dresses.
