For a small reception on the water in suffolk, I would definitely look at Louis XVI in Patchougue. It's amazing there. I would also suggest Captain Bill's.



I have to second Louis XVI
I do childrens parties and one of my clients had her sons communion party there, it was really gorgeuos!!!!!
The had the main room and went right outside for cocktails

Snapper Inn. I went to a wedding there on Saturday and it was amazing!

The Snapper Inn will also accomodate a smaller party. If you are willing to go to the north shore, there is also Danford's in Pt Jeff & The Thatched Cottage in Eastport.



The Thatched Cottage is in Centerport actually..which is nowhere near Eastport.

Sorry I am so North Shore illiterate.

thanks for all the help.
i am checking out most of them, i really like the Snapper Inn but for the outside pavillion you need a guarantee of 90 but the inside rooms aren't bad. i am also looking at san souci on the north shore, it's nassau but it looks nice

There's a place in Stony Brook that is very nice, a restaurant, but they do weddings, called the Country House, HTH.
