I only have the reception and church booked. I'm going to start looking for photographers and videographers this weekend since I will be on LI. But it might take me awhile since I want to visit a lot of places before I make my decision.

I finally booked the church....and am going on Saturday to sign the contract with the reception hall. Ummm I haven't done anything and I am a big procrastinator so I probably won't be doing too much for another couple of months :).

I don't have not one thing done!! Just researching what I want - getting quotes and shopping arond but no contracts yet.

Let's see...we have the church, hall, a location for pictures in between the church and the reception, photographer, videographer and dj. Right now, I'm obsessed with Save the Dates and Invitations. I have some ideas for my gown and BM's gowns, but haven't really done anything about either yet.

JuneBride - For our DJ we hired Tommy Tunes. We saw them at a bridal show and they work with whatever price you give them. I have only had great experiences with them.

I found my dress, photographer, limo, dj, videographer and florist.....but none are booked.

I need a non religous officant!

I got engaged in August '03....We have only booked the reception hall....however I am getting married 1 month from 2006...I think I have some time........right?

Hi. I am an Oct. 2005 bride. Since I am getting married Columbus Day weekend, we've strated early. I've booked my church, reception hall...Giorgio's (so beautiful!), our photographer, and our videographer. We are currently looking at DJ's. I am going to look for my gown in june/july probably. Hope to hear from other Oct. 05 brides soon!

So far we have booked a lot of the major things eventhough the wedding isn't till next summer!
We booked:
The Hall: Riviera
The Band: Code Bleu
The Limos: we found them, just haven't signed
The Photographer: Patken
The Dress
The Tuxes
And the Church is in progress...we have a meeting next thursday.

We picked out the invitations, now just trying to find the best price. So right now, we're taking it easy for awhile and thinking about favors and little extras here and there.

We figured we should get a lot out of the way so that we're not worrying about stuff closer to the wedding...hope that works!!
