Spanish Father/Daughter Dance?

My father is from Uruguay (in South America) and although he understands and speaks english his primary language is spanish. I thought it would be nice to have a spanish song for our dance. Unfortunately I am clueless when it comes to the world of latin music. Any suggestions???
Thanks

Re: Spanish Father/Daughter Dance?

Can you find a spanish version of 'My Baby You'? My friend danced with her father to that song. There was not a dry eye in the house.

Re: Spanish Father/Daughter Dance?

My family is also from Uruguay My friend used 'De Nina A Mujer' by Julio Iglesias to dance with her Dad. I'm sure you can download it from Kazaa.

Re: Spanish Father/Daughter Dance?

I am using a song that has NOTHING to do with a wedding but EVERYTHING to do with my relationship w/ my dad. He used to sing me a song when I was little (and still to date) called 'El Aguacate' and it's become our song. i am trying to get a 'trio' to come play it live

Re: Spanish Father/Daughter Dance?

If my father can make it out of my country (Venezuela it is now a living hell), I might dance a pasodoble with him. It is what he likes the most!

Re: Spanish Father/Daughter Dance?

For my wedding, my father and I danced to the song 'un vals para una novia' Alejandro Jaen. A friend of mine suggested it and it was perfect for me and my dad. Everyone had tears in their eyes when we were on the dance floor.
