I hung out with all types of people the 'jocks', 'japs' (my favorite), the 'skaters', the 'grunge type'
I had all different types in my HS.
I was like...roller skaters?

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
FH was the total frat boy in training in high school.
I was in theater and in the honors program, so I didn't have so much contact with everyone in my class. All of the groups knew each other, but there were clear lines drawn between them.

We were both friends with everyone, but definitely fell into the jock/homecoming queen/popular crowd.I knew and talked to everyone though, I edited the yearbook so I had to!

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
I guess I was a jock- there was like 12 of us- we called ourselves the Party girls- pretty cheesey now that I think about itwe all played Lacrosse, socer or Field Hockey
we hung out with the lacrosse guys- but I always liked the older bad boys
and FH was a bad boy- but a grade below me- so he had no chance back then!
we went to the same HS but weren't freinds

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
Oh boy did I LOVE HS! Even though I went to an all girl school. We all had our own clicks and hung out together during lunch or on the weekends. But I was friends with all the girls...a few of us (from different clicks) started clubbing together and are still friends till this day
My FH-terrible bad boy!!!!!!!!!!!

same with me. I still run into people in bars or the mall & they say-You're Scotty's little sister right? They don't even know my name! We didn't even go to the same school.

I was a volunteer lunch lady in training. I hung out with the cafeteria ladies. It was awesome. On graduation day, they made me a hat out of leftover chicken patties ...8 years later, and I still sleep with it under my pillow. I call it 'Stinky'. It is actually my FH.

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
I was on sports, but I wasn't a jock girl. I was pretty quiet and made few friends out of the group of 9 I'm still very good friends with today. We were kind of a clique and didn't really want to inviter other people in b/c we hated our classmates! I def. wasn't popular! But we went to a lot of parties and were always hanging out at clubs and stuff.FH was extremely popular throughout HS and college. He was a jock/musician/partying type of guy who had a million friends and still does! He is one year older than me and went to the school the next town over. FH threw some infamous parties at his house that are still talked about today!

So I felt like I was just there in HS. LIke I wasnt with the snobby pop. girls and I dont think i hung out with quote unquote loser weirdo people
(u know who these people are)
but i feel like i was a neutral party in HS but def enjoyed
PS it is soooooooooooooo funny to see all the drama unfold from a teachers view....funny!

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
I wasnt popular because I was the 'fat girl' and NOBODY was nice to the fat girl. Well I wish that my class (1988) will have a 20 year reunion so I can show my skinny a$$ off to the world. So I am shallow. SO WHAT!!!Thank you!

I know what you mean!
I hung out with different crowds so I had different circles of friends. I wrote for the school paper, played music, tried the whole theater route, tried to play sports!
FH went to a different school and from the stories I've heard, he was the ring leader of a group of juvenile delinquents! Just kidding! Well, sort of.

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
I wasn't really in any crowd.....actually i had only one real friend, and then there were a few people that I was friendly with because they were friend of a friend of a friend. And now I don't even talk with that one friend anymore. My FH has 2 really close friends from HS still (our BM and one of our groom'smen)

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
Not really in any crowd. It was weird for me because my friends were not in the same grade as me (some older and some younger). At the time, I didn't think I was popular, but now I kinda do.FH has always been really quiet but his friends were all the popular crowd and they are still in touch. I just saw his yearbook and so many girls signed it, even though everyone says he was so quiet (and he still is).

Re: Speaking of the 'cool crowd'....
I was a bit of a rebel without a clue. I smoked cigarettes, wore combat boots and took the whole grunge movement way too seriously. My two best friends were into freestyle and had the sprayed up bangs, but they were tough too. I got good grades, but I guess I hung out with a rough crowd. I dated a guy who was in college. I met the homecomming queen in a bar a few years ago, and she told me she was scared sh*tless of me. I never thought of myself that way. Everyone knew me, but I guess ppl were sort of scared of me so I didn't have a huge group of friends. I was happy though. . .My FH was a total jock in high school. Played both basketball and baseball. Star athlete and everything. We *never* would have hung out in HS- we laugh about that. He saw pictures of me and he said I scared him.
I got picked on a lot when I was younger and in a different school- I used to stick up for the kids who got picked on. I hated that.
