I agree! Ours charged $375 and did next to nothing. We got to pick from ceremony #1 or ceremony #2. He showed up for maybe 45 minutes and complained that I didn't have the return envelope for the license (our town didn't give us one). He was annoyed that he had to go online to find their address. Yes, he met with us----for about 10 minutes. We looked at other vendors and their practices and prices were about the same. I think it's ridiculous what they charge. Even if they do 3-4 hours of work-----they are earning $100+ per hour? That is freaking nuts. I think I should quit my job and start doing this for a living.

hey..if you don't want to pay that much..you can have someone become an officiant..a lof of ppl do that actually..
