I am a teacher and I am getting married in July--I never thought I would have a summer wedding--I am not one for the extreme heat--But it just worked for me for a couple of reasons. I will have a nice week off before the wedding-then after the wedding I will be able to relax for 7 weeks. I won't have to worry about my students and lesson planning--I will be able to get adjusted to married life and enjoy it!!!! I agree that the heat and humidity are negatives--but for me the positives outweighed the negatives. I am sure no matter what you chose will be great and you will be happy--Good Luck!!!!!!!

Those were my exact reasons for getting married in July. We also wanted to go on our honeymoon right away.

It just worked out better for me then--so I'll be hot, I will get over it :) It actually is helping the year go by faster--I have something so exciting to look forward to!!!

I would also like to point out to anyone who thinks the heat and humidity are a problem in the summer, YOU CANNOT PREDICT THE WEATHER! I can remember MANY Octobers that were still hot and humid, and I can recall many summers that were beautiful. I got married in July, and the weather was PERFECT.
Just something else to think about. The weather is the weather, it's something you have no control over.
