I'll tell you tomorrow when I put my money where my mouth is!

I have to say after todays trip, it felt like a weight was lifted off my chest, that's for sure.

Anyone have any tips on what I should make sure is on the contract?

Yes, we are doing it on Labor Day. Either people will come, or they won't. We like it partly because it's warm out, and that's the day when our minimum works. I would go if I was invited. Nice food, and a great party or a BBQ...I'll take the wedding. IF they don't come, well...I'll forgive them, no really, I will.

No really...It's not like I hold grudges for THAT long... haha

Besides, the people who mean most to me will be there. And I know we are gonna have an awesome day, and everyone coming will have a great time. I'll see to it personally!

I've never been to a wedding there but FH's aunt was and she and her DH kept me hostage for an hour telling me every single little thing that they ate while there because they thought the food was so good!

Can't help out in regards to getting things thrown in ~ We felt that we got what we wanted for a great price so we didn't really have to go any further . . .

Off to sign the contract...I hope they take credit cards as the first deposit.

I know all the other places I went said it was ok for the first, and they needed checks there after.

yes, now the rest will fall into place...

i found the location to be the most difficult decision to make. booking other vendors was easier in one way, but more frustrating in another (lots of options) - coordinating everything seems to be the biggest annoyance to date.

congrats on the place!
