Are you having it JT- the Oak room? When I saw the room, there was white chair cover on it and the pictures they showed us, also have the chair cover. So, I totally forgot to ask about that.
Let me know what you find out from your BM

Re: The Official 2007 Jerricho Terrace Thread
really?I will make sure I bring this up before I go there and sign the contract
Question on the contract, what's usually included in the contract? Does it take a long time to read it through before signing it?

Re: The Official 2007 Jerricho Terrace Thread
absolutely!! please ask away. Maybe they changed their policy from the time i booked but i know when i booked, the covers were not included and the only way they would throw them in is if we went over our guarrantee.they claim that they rent the covers- but more and more i think it is b.s.
it does not take long to sign the contract but this is the time to negotiate, so if there is something you want thrown in, then by all means bring it up upon signing the contract.
but also remember that you can always update and change the contract.
good luck!! please let us know what happens!!

Re: The Official 2007 Jerricho Terrace Thread
i am in the dome room. at this point, i do not know if i have the covers or not. The only way i can get them is if i go over my head count. Its still pending and i still have to talk to them.give them hell for not telling you that the covers were not included.... they may or may not work with you...

Re: The Official 2007 Jerricho Terrace Thread
Without boring everyone with the details I moved my wedding date from December to April of this year and because of that had to take smaller room which comes with a smaller cocktail room. I scaled back on the cocktail hour because they said I can't hold all the guests in the cocktail room so they will be doing the cocktails in the reception room (penthouse). I'm kind of regrettng it but I don't know if it seems tacky or cheezy to have the full cocktail hour in the same room as the reception/sit down dinner. What would you girls do?

wait so they are going to set up all the chafing dishes and all the cocktail stuff in the same room as your reception? - if they do that how or when are they going to break down the stations if your guests stay in the same room?
