I think in the beginning it's really expensive and then it tapers off. You want to get all the tools and stock of paper and cardstock, things to hold it all, etc. But once you have these items, you wont have to replace them for a long time, if ever.

For the most part I have what I need and usually shope for a specific something for a layout. I was in a store and got 2 $1 jolee embellishments because that was all I needed.

I enjoy scrapping soooooo much and love the end result that the cost doesnt bother me too much.
