What did you get???

I got a bunch of the paper wire, twisted paper, mulberry spring rolls, some brads and the poetry dog tags.

I am actually a rare victim of $hitty service from LM but I love their stuff and their prices. This last order was super late and after mentioning my order history with them (which has been pretty atocious) Jackie sent me the order express mail AND gave me a refund.

But I do love the site.

The women are so nice and friendly and you missed the benefit sale they had for a former member, Rena. She was diagnosed with a form of cancer which required eye surgery followed by radiation and chemo therapy. To help pay incidental expenses not coverd by insurance one of her friends started this benefit. So basically a lot of the members donated & sold hand made items (kits, tags, cards, etc) that were purchased by other members and all the proceeds were given to Rena and her family through paypal. The benefit ran for 3 weeks and would you believe close to $8,000 was raised for this woman's family???!!!!!! Aside from paying all those little extra expenses she was able to set up a small trust fund for her children's education!

The second Hudson/Bergen County Crop will be held on July 26!

It will be in Ridgefield New Jersey
Lots of parking and AIR CONDITIONING!!

The crop will be held at the American Legion Hall on the corner of
Shaler Blvd. and Banta Place

It will be from 9am to 9pm.

12 hours of cropping!!!

Light breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Luckily DH doesn't pay too much attention to my scrap supply but every once in a while he'll notice there seems to be more of it.

He is pretty supportive of the whole thing and I buy the supplies with my spending money so he doesnt care how much I spend but I think that tune would change if I started bringing in car loads of stuff
