I'll keep your DH in my prayers. My future Brother in law is on his way there next week. He is our Best Man, and I'm not sure he'll be able to get leave to come home for our wedding.

Jen I must extend my deepest apologies to you and Rob. It was never my intent to upset you. DH had been concerned and was hoping that Rob wasin some other branch or part of the reserves and would not have to go. We will certainly pray our hardest that he stays home and is not called to serve.

OMG Jenn. please allow me to freak with you. My brother already served 2 tours there. I cannot bear the thought of him going back again.

I dont know exactly what they meant by that but first of all the bill was passed on July 26th and his anniversary date is sometime around now sooooooo he wasnt in his last year when hat happened and YES theyare that technical with these thinngs. I also know from experience to never rely on the news for that kind of information as the marines do what they want anyway...

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers ladies. I guess I am fortunate that he only spent 6 months over there BUT he was there when the actual warstarted through all the bombing and stuff.....so I just cant stand the thought of going through it again

Jen, I know how you feel. FH just got back from Iraq the end of July after 11 months (that's also including being stop / loss). That was his second overseas tour (first was Afghanistan). His orders to ETS just came in the other day. With this news of activating IRR, it has me worried as well.
