What are you talking about? There is no contradiction w/Martha Stewart's advice + mine. Please read my postings if you want clarification.

The hostility is not on my part. I simply need to defend myself against all these attacks.

Three Village Inn?

My old roommate got married there about 3 years ago in May. It was very quaint there, and her outdoor ceremony was beautiful. She only had about 125 people, so there was more than enough room on the dance floor. And I remember the staff there being pretty helpful. Good luck.

Three Village Inn?

thanks, jill. very encouraging since our # of guests will be 125 MAX. 'quaint' is a great word for it, i definitely fell in love with the colonial atmosphere when we went to their bridal open house over the weekend. having a hard time finding people who've been there; hope a few more of you out there could tell me about any three village inn experience! -janene

Three Village Inn?

Janene,

I have been there delivering jobs and also have eaten dinner there. The ambiance is very charming and it's right near the water. The staff has always been accomodating and friendly. The food served in the dining room was very good. Also if you have out of town guests they can stay at the inn.

Three Village Inn?

paula and stephanie- thanks so much for your responses. i really value seeing what people think. i think i'll go to eat at the restaurant part of it this weekend. two minor things i did not like about the inn: my guests will have to walk through the restaurant to get to the reception room. once in the room, however, there is no need to leave, as the room has it's own set of restrooms. also, they do not have a bridal suite. if we did get a room at the inn for the wedding night, i would be able to go upstairs and use the room as one. any opinions on either of these points? thanks, janene

Three Village Inn?

My family has been there for a wedding(I was out of state) They said it is a great place, great food the problem was that they invited 200. It was too crowded. I went there last year for dinner and it was great! The food and service was the best and it has a warm atmosphere. Great choice! Good Luck!

Three Village Inn?

Janene,

It is true that your guests have to walk through the restaurant to get to the back room...there are hostesses to greet your guests and escort them so that is nice. I guess if you love everything else about it then you shouldn't let that be the deciding factor.

Even though they don't have a bridal suite you can definetely use the room as your place to get ready. Also ask them if they can have a waiter/waitress as an attendant to give you and your bridesmaids whatever you may need (drinks, snacks, etc...) in the room. Maybe they would provide this for you if you book the wedding there so you should ask.

Three Village Inn?

Had a 50th anniversary party for my parents there in September (about 50 people), and it was wonderful. The food was yummy - definitely more than a cut above some of those "wedding factory" catering halls. Also, my parents stayed the night. Their room was charming - with a wonderful water view. I'd go for it!
