Re: Umm, ok the question no one will ask...
We discussed it, but I don't think we will last...Friends of our are getting married this weekend and they decided 6 months that they were going to hold off until the wedding night...
They slipped up 1 & 1/2 times....
I don't even want to know the 1/2...

yes, since our wedding is march, we are starting no nookie rules after New Years Day. So about 2 months. Why not feel special that day.

We can't do that...MY FI's 29th b-day is 3 days before our wedding... It just isn't fair...

Re: Umm, ok the question no one will ask...
We haven't even talked about it! I think if we do hold out it would be max 2 months, but I think we will definitely do about a week. I live at home now (and my parents are strict) and he's been living in my basement (long story) so holding out 2 months will be NO problem at all

Me too, I'm sure my FH will be happy to hear that he isn't the only 'deprived' FH.

No matter what, the honeymoon will be special.. Your going to be in a totally different type of enviornment (mostl likely in a romantic setting) the mood will be there and it will be special. I have no doubt.

Re: Umm, ok the question no one will ask...
probably the week before - mainly for lack of time, not lack of need. and honestly, it helps RELIEVE stress, so to me there is no reason not to do it

Re: Umm, ok the question no one will ask...
I never even thought about this or discussed it with FH. I doubt we will do it deliberately. I think whether you have sex the night before you are married (not that I will who the hell will have time) your wedding night will be special. But maybe I'll run it by FH just to see what he says. lol
There have been times we haven't been intimate for a period of time since our schedules are so different.

We haven't talked about it but I doubt it. FH and I are at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to sex drive (guess which side he's on?
). I couldn't do that to him if I was actually in the mood.

I would like to hold off as of the 1st of October..the wedding is October 14th. He says no, but I think we should. I am sure we will talk about it some more once it gets closer

Re: Umm, ok the question no one will ask...
I think it is a very interesting question and one that my FI and I have actually discussed. We are a little older (in our 30's) and by the time of our wedding we will have been living together for 6 months. So, we decided to spend the night before our wedding apart and I won't see him until I walk down the isle...but as far as the rest...I think we will need to be with each other to help ease stress and feel close to each other during that time.

We have a 3 year old who never wants to go to bed, so when ever I can get it I'm happy. So as far as waiting I don't think so!!!!

We haven't really discussed it, but I don't think we'll hold out. I think it might happen accidentally the week or so before the wedding, just with all the running around and planning. We shall see.Welcome New Vendors
