I know a lot of brides have had fabulous experiences with Flower Michele. Personally, I did not. I told him what I wanted and he said he couldn't do it - color wise. He gave me a price quote that was completely out of line with almost every other florist I met with (I saw 14 total). Two weeks after I met with him a bride posted her review with her flowers from John with - you guessed it - the colors he said he couldn't do.

Thats how I felt, like he just kept telling me 'oh i know exactly what you want, I can do it not a problem.' Then when we met w/ him to see some samples, he odviously had no clue what I was talking about! He's a sweet guy dont get me wrong, but in my eyes thats not the reason to pick someone. I wasnt impressed by his work at all, i saw nothing different about his pieces, and that is what I was looking for

I have heard so much about FM! I haven't decided on a florist yet but I like the idea of what your getting with FBB!
Could you FM please with FBB information?

UPDATE: I am still working with FBB to reduce the price even further. After I get them down to a better number, I will contact FM to see what they can do.

FBB just went down another $10 per CP.

Now I gotta gear up and call FM.
at this point even if they match I'm leaning towards FBB because they seem to be offering more right off the bat.

FM has a great reputation. I read some of the above posts and I am sorry some brides felt rushed. I talked and talked and stayed there for a long time and myself and my FH never felt rushed. He was the last florist I visited and in regards to the quotes they were all within the same price range. John has amazing work that speaks for itself!

I met with both and was much more satisfied with FM. FBB did a sample and they did not put the flowers I requested and they seemed annoyed and rushed to fix it. I also felt they were a little pushy about getting me to commit to a yes or no about booking with them. Ultimately, I decided against them after the sample incident and then the woman called and left me a message asking If I call her to let her know if we are not going to book them (which I thought was weird, vs. she inquiring whether I was interested in booking). I would recommend that you ask if FM can match FBB.

I have not done anything about my flowers yet but I have read/heard all good things about Flowers Michele.
I have heard mixed reviews of FBB
I heard he is cocky/obnoxious and overpriced
I heard that his trucks are not always working to full capacity RE: AC in the part with the flowers was broken and flowers were wilting
But I have also heard he does beautiful work

I think there is going to be a horror story about every vendor - you just have to stay on top of them to make sure you get what you want

I spoke to John on the phone today and totally experienced what everyone has been raving about. He's great~! He is definitely willing to work something out in terms of the price and matching and BEATING what FBB is giving us. I made appointments to see samples from both this saturday.

Will them let me take pics? If they do, I'll post pics so everyone can see.

When I walked into FM and saw the beautiful sample John made for us, I almost cried. I couldn't book him fast enough. Thank you girls for all your advice and a special thank you to the girl who asked John to FM me.

its so funny how people's opinions are so different, you said you think the pics speak for the themselves and then that you went with FM, both cp are pretty but when i looked at them i liked FBB better, but i am glad you are happy and have decided on your florist, one more thing to check off

I really love the FM centerpiece, because it is fuller and more vibrant! But then again I booked him so I am biased!

you're right... I think the pics speak for themselves, too! That centerpiece is AWESOME! And that's great that they made you a sample centerpiece before you booked them! I don't get mine until a month before! I can't wait to see it, yet with FM, I know it will be AWESOME!!!

I think there is no comparison. Flower Michele did an amazing job.
