i did the grunge thing in high school, years 10-11. i had the ripped jeans, plaid tights underneath, and doc martens. i had black, the red and the plaid pair. converse were pretty cool too. Year 12 I did more stuff like jcrew, gap etc, but still had vintage jeans etc.

Geesh, HS seems so long ago! I still love to wear jeans and Vans, that'll never change. But I've given up on wearing flannels!! Oh, and the big hoop earrings are gone too.

ETA: Remember those 'Absolute' T-shirts? Everyone was Absolute something or other!!

Oddly enough, where my overall style hasn't really changed that much, I think my fashion sense has drastically improved!!!

I remember wearing the champion sweat shirts with the checkered skid pants. That was popular in middle school. When I was in high school, the plaid skirts with the thigh highs and mary janes were popular.

That's what I remember most, in 9th grade that was the big thing. Funny to think back about that compared to what kids wear now (sometimes barely anything)! The pants and sweatshirts sure were comfy though!

jnco wide leg pants -- hardcore badazz phase
overalls and flannels- grungie phase

OMG, I feel so OLD!!! High school was sooooooooooo long ago!!! I had Lee jeans in every color. Addidas with the shell tip. Oh yeah, and I used to tie up my pants at the bottom so they could be tapered to my leg!!!!

I'm so friggin old!!!!

Tank tops ans 1/2 shirts with Flannels. Tightest jeans I could squeeze into with cowboy boots and as much fringe and leather as possible. And my beloved Guns n' Roses jean jacket which still hangs in the closet.

Did I mention illegally large hair and concert shirts?

No no, I meant over all, like in general. Tho I used to wear overalls too! I never really liked the one up/one down thing, I'm too anal about symmetry for that!!

This black PATENT LEATHER hooker skirt
Mens Gap jeans 34X34 with cut bottoms that I would sit and shred
A flowy dress with Docs
Or cream colored Limited jeans with some rollneck sweater and those brown suede-ish shoes from Bass with the reddish soles...hmmmm why?

What about the jewelry!!

I had an all diamond name bracelet, the diamond name ring, the ankle bracelet worn around my neck with my name and my boyfriend's name in diamonds/gold, thick gold herringbone necklace, various gold rings and bracelets, and sky high hair!

I still have all that jewelry in a jewerly box somewhere. I couldn't part with it since it brings back memories, even though that particular bf and and I broke up years ago!

A necklace with my name on it! Jeans in different colors....huge sweaters.....anything from the GAP.....slouch socks......hairspray....

OMG! recycled jeans! I can remember trying on hundreds of pairs to find the best ones. My cousin and I once found one pair we both loved so we bought them and shared. The fights we had over those jeans!
