Updating registry info
Hi there - my wedding is coming up real soon (3/25). Although I"ve already had my shower, I've been adding things to my registry with the intent to assist friends and family members who may want to send a gift (out of towners) or those who want to bring a gift (instead of cash). I've been adding "fine gift" items, ie lenox. (adding is easy via the internet so I'm doing this all from my home)
Am I wasting my time or is this a worthwhile exercise? I'm trying to be helpful but if its not practical, I have other things to do and will focu s my energies elsewhere!
Any thoughts or ideas?

I don't think you are wasting your time I know many brides whose parents/family help to finish her registry after the wedding-- even as far as your first anniversary Doesn't hurt to put everything on your wish list- Also many stores give 10% off to the bride/groom on purchasing items on their registry after the wedding Hope that helps
WHat time of year was your quote for? I'm having my reception on New Year's Day and I was originally quoted a price of $110 and they changed it to $65 for the exact same menu.
It is important that you be completely comfortable with your decision. If you're not - go elsewhere. There are plenty of other people out there who will cater to your needs. You shouldn't have to 'push' for anything...
