Re: Vacation Ideas

I am looking at the Carnival brochure right now and they dont have a 4nt cruise to Canada in October. The last 4nt one is 9/2 and there is a 5nt one and that is 9/6. In October they only have a 7nt.

Re: Vacation Ideas

I'd say hit western mountains of maine or white mountains of new hampshire since that will be peak foliage time....but if you're not one for sight-seeing, this trip might be a little boring to you. However, you can always find a hotel w/ an indoor pool if that's your fancy...your wife can just go shopping!

Re: Vacation Ideas

Turks and Caicos Allegro resort. We went last Sept for about $800 for 6 days. Food was good, it was the slow season though so it was not that crowded. Check it out!! Below is an actual picture of the ocean. T and C is well known for their snorkling and scuba diving!!

Re: Vacation Ideas

Joe and I like to go to DC. We usually stay at the Bethesda Marriott. If we're not in the mood for the city, we go to Martinville Streamside Cottages in Canadensis, PA (the Poconos.) Baltimore is also fun. Depends if you're looking for some R&R or fun.

Are you kidding?? That's a far better price then Club Med!
Would you say it was a family friendly resort? We've got a daughter who will be 2 when we plan on taking vacation. I don't want to take her anywhere wild!

Re: Vacation Ideas

It was very family friendly! Come to think of it there were actually some children ther during that time. It was not a crazy place at all...very relaxing and beautiful. For a party atmosphere...Club Med would be better.

Yes, as I was saying on your other post, my FH used to work at that Club Med. He said it was a very wild time in his life...
Can I ask you what travel agent you went through?

Re: Vacation Ideas

I went through Liberty Travel but as I said earlier...we met people there who paid less than we did and stayed for more days!! Just another picture!! We were on a catamaran here around the main island. This was not the resort though...I think these were condos. Sorry could not upload the picture!!
