Hmm I really dont remember...I think he took me out to dinner but I dont remember...oh wait...I remember buying him the Polo Sport cologne and he bought me a crystal figurine (two swans)...he didnt know yet that I was NOT into knick knacks!

he cooked me dinner it was sweet
he went to trader joes and made a nice dinner for us

Our first Valentine's day together he cooked me dinner at his apartment. He knew I hated Valentine's Day and wanted it to be special. That year we bought gifts for each other- I bought him a Fossil watch and he got me tickets to see Les Miserables before it closed. But that night he cooked my favorite dinner from scratch, chicken parm, and made a caprese salad (mozzarella, tomotoe & basil) and we ate by candle light. Then he bought this mushy cd and we danced to it. At that point we had been dating 4 months and we already knew that we would get married.

when DH and I first started dating, he lived in OH.

I flew there for V-day weekend and we barely came up for air

He took me to South Beach as a surprise. We watched the sunrise on the beach.. it was very romantic...

Our first together - the day before he sent me a dz. Roses with a card that said look forward to spending v-day with you - then the nest day when I got to his house there was 1/2 dozen balloons and another dz roses, candy and 2 big stuffed gorillas...dont ask me why all that and we went out to dinner but I dont remember where

We went out to dinner and he bought me this mushy card saying how much he loved me. We had been together 11 months by then. He's such a romantic man.

On our very first Valentine's day we went out on our first date. We were still just friends at the time.

My husband works nights so when he came home this morning, I had his new paper and I made heart shaped pancakes and bacon.. lit 2 pink candles and waited..
All I can really so at 9 months prego.. lol
He loved it..

I do remember that every valentines day FH got me a new set of kiss kiss bears. And one set he had put patches on them that said our names and they play music. It was so sweet.

We actually had a LONG Valentine's Day celebration. On the Sunday before we went to brunch with another couple, then we went out to dinner with two couples. On V-Day itself he made me chicken marsala with risotto, and we went ice skating. I remember skating around having a discussion about names for children. He asked me if I would consider his first name for a boy.

We had just started dating on January 17th. All we ever did was hang out at each other's houses and watch TV. We made Valentine's our official first date. We went out to the movies and to dinner. It was really nice.

Our first V-day was last year, it was on a Monday. So Friday night he came home with roses and surprised me early!!

Since he works nights we just went to a diner for dinner during his breaktime, it was nice but rushed. Then when he got home I was wearing nothing but one of his tanktops, lighted candles, and had a CD playing with a bunch of love songs on it.

It was 9 years ago. I was only 15! It was our first time ever 'hanging out' together. We went to a band show at my high school. We were quite the 'alternative' bunch back then. Then we went to get something to eat. Then we went to a local park and he pushed me on some swings and we talked, then he took me home. Less than two weeks later we officially started dated.

Well the first V-day before we were going out, was special too!

At our HS they had a thing on valentine's day that you could send flowers to people and they would get them in homeroom. Red was love, pink was friendship and white was secret admirer.

FH and I were just becoming close friends. FH sent all of his friends pink flowers, but he sent me a white one, and i was SOOOOO dense...I was actually upset, i was like 'Why didn't he give me a pink flower? He doesn't consider me a friend!??!'

I was SO dense...of course he meant secret admirer, but I didn't get it!

Then the following year was our first V-day together...All I rememebr is he sent me more white flowers (to make fun of me mostly)..and I remember sitting on a bench in school and looking at all of the craziness, lots of couples exchanging gifts. I remember FH gave me 2 CDs he burned for me. I made him a whole bunch of homemmade chocolate!

FH went skiing, I stayed home. Always the romantic I don't really care about V-day though, so he got a pass (he did get me flowers the day before - which I was surprised and quite happy with )

Our first Valentine's day was last year. FH still lived in PA at the time so I was bummed that V-day was a Monday and didn't fall on our usual Wednesday date night. I got flowers at work and was happy about that, but not as happy as I was when I got a knock on the door and there was FH all dressed up in a suit (complete with tie with little hearts and 'nobody does it better' ) with more flowers, gifts, and a smile from ear to ear. He is so cute.
