first off, you and your Fh's happiness is all that matters. maybe this person is one of those that you have to tell off for them to back off. Tell him to mind his own business Just remember....Misery loves company. Don't let him get to you.

I'm so sorry!! People are just plain rude sometimes!! Didn't their parents ever teach them, if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all??

When we 1st got engaged I had a lot of people telling me not to get married, don't waste $$ on a wedding, blah blah blah. His own bro has this thing against women, thinks they're all the same, FH tells him I'm not like that. They're both divorced, FH never thought he'd get married again but quickly changed his mind when he met me.

These are all people that don't really know 'us'. Everyone who sees us together can easily see how happy we are and NONE of them ever say a word about our upcomning marriage or question our decision.

So it pretty much boils down to people talking out of their a$$es about something that they know nothing about!! F*ck em!!

I have gotten a few RUDE comments myself from people at work. At one point I was going to kick this one guys a$$. Me and my coworker were talking about weddings and this jerk comes over and says I hope you are not thing about going to my wedding they are just going to serve water and soup, you would be lucky if you get a piece of meat. I guess he thinks that I am having a cheap wedding but what ever he thinks he should keep to himself. He also said a few other stuff in the pass that really upset me.
