Warning: Strip Club Post::
Hi All,I work for a strip club in the city- Penthouse Executive Club- I do all the events and marketing here.
So, I've seen MANY parties come through here, as I plan the majority of the bachelor parties.
Me personally (and I'm female, in case you were wondering)- I don't give a crap if my fiance goes to strip clubs. They are completely harmless, in my opinion. So what if it's dry humping? I guess it just doesn't bother me, I'm totally immune to the whole thing.
I definitely do understand all you guys freaking out a little bit, but since I work here and see what's going on, it doesn't bother me. You have to understand, that the 'strippers' aren't working here to find a boyfriend. THEY WANT MONEY! So, they are giving lap dances to take your man's cash! So, let the guys blow their money to get a false sense of attraction. Believe me, the whole time these girls are giving lap dances, they are thinking about doing their laundry, the errands they have to run, finding a baby sitter, etc.
All I told my FH is to get out of NYC, I don't want him to be here. Oh, and I just said no physical contact- like, I don't care if they hire strippers/hookers/girl-on-girl shows--- just NO contact. I trust my FH, and if he enjoys that, then go for it! It'll be the last time he gets to party like that, for sure.

I agree, definitely, and this is why I have no problem with strip clubs in general. But, IMO, lap dances count as contact. So I think we are all on the same page.
Also, you have FM.

I don't think any woman on here thinks they're going to lose their FH to a stripper. What I believe is that they just don't want another woman touching their FH's. Just as their FH's wouldn't want another man rubbing her breasts or lower, etc, most women don't want another woman 'dry humping' on the guy's lap.My FH wouldn't do it because he thinks it's cheating & disrespectful to me, and that's the type of respect for me that makes me love him.

Re: Warning: Strip Club Post::
This is so wierd to read all these posts about strip clubs and lap dances....if you knew what I 'allowed' my DH to do the night of his bachelor party, I would be banned from LIW.The funny thing is I don't set rules or tell him what not to do; however, I don't get the same in return...oh well.

Okay, I can't hold it in any more - I have to tell you....DH is very honest with me and has nothing to hide. At his bachelor party, at a bar, his Best Man 'bought' 2 strippers. They had a lot of laughs (the boys) and DH was 'pants' (pants pulled down around his ankle). His you know what was out. Was I / am I annoyed when I heard this and do I think it is disrespectful...yes - but I am not going to argue over it or stress. It really is a once in a life time event and he had fun.
DH and I go to strip bars together. We have a good time, I see nothing wrong with this. Does he get lap dances - yes. Does he get turned on by them - no. He honestly doesn't even like them. He got three on the night of his bachelor party.
Maybe I let my guard down, or I am little naive, but I am not worried at all.
Please don't judge me by my response to this post. This is my opinion and I hope I didn't offend anyone.
Also, DH doesn't put himself in 'situations.' Funny thing is, even if I have a firlfriend coming over and I am in the shower when she arrives he'll run in the bathroom and tell me she is here and then run outside. He never wants to feel uncomfortable. He's a good person.

Agree w/this completely. Do not think I would lose him to a stripper or any other woman. I just dont want another woman touching my FH like that. He wouldnt like it if I did this to another guy.
KittyStray-your man is awesome for not going to one! lol
i like the way he thinks

i really have no problems with strip clubs - i always tease my FH that those girls wouldnt go home with him anyway so he can stare all he wants lol jk
he has been to them before for other bachelor parties and he is not really all that into them . . . i dont care if he goes but i have this stupid theory in my head that if he goes to an 'expensive' Manhattan strip club - nothing really bad will happen but if he goes to some 'discount' strip club in the Bronx of something then the girls may be willing to do more than they should be doing!!
i would never tell him that he cant do something - especially if he is going to be with his friends. . . but i am sure he knows
my Bachelor party rule is no prostitutes LOL ewwwwwwww
also - jeanine please dont worry about this! you are such a calm bride - you are my inspiration!
til-this is what im afraid of. the bachelor party is in AC-all the really skeazy ones are there-

citycrab - i like the shower idea i will have to make that specific request if he goespigs222seal - dont be ashamed about what you 'let' your DH do! LOL there is a lot of stuff i read on here that - trust me- does NOT apply to my relationship with FH . . . he is a sweetheart and everything. . . he is just not all that squeaky clean lol i dont know how else to put it! whatever works for your relationship is cool - however, i DO think that you just freaked out many girls with that stripper story!!!!
i think that FH has gotten lap dances - i never asked though - i guess if i sat there and pictured it it would bother me - but really they are just working. . . and he is not really all that into them so its not a big issue with me
honestly i would rather he go to a strip club and have some girl dance for him then go to a bar and meet some dirty girl who isnt doing a 'job'
i guess everyone has different opinions on this - i have asked to go to strip clubs with him but he always says no - i think he thinks i will get drunk and embarras him!! oh well
jeanine - is your BP the same night as his? bc if it isnt you have to go out anyway so u dont worry the whole time!! and there are nice ones in AC - he will probably hate it anyway! he seems so shy! lol

FH is going to SIN CITY FOR HIS BP
We each gave one another ground rules. I am fine if he attends some strip clubs, it doens't bother me in the least bit. I want him to have fun, he is celebrating with 20 other horny guys.
Now this is where I hear some negative responses on my post

Re: Warning: Strip Club Post::
I was not worried about my husbands bachelor party or him going to someone else's. I have heard many stories from him about what goes on with these women and all they want is your money. Even if you hire private stippers they come with a bouncer and you are not allowed to touch them in any inappropriate manner but I am sure they would do anything for money.I have also gone to a strip club (male and female) a few times in my life and seeing what actually goes on there made me feel a lot better about him going. If you are that unsure of what goes on there ask him if you can go together and just watch how the other men act that are not there with their ladies.
You have to trust your FH the way you would wanted to be trusted and most of this is all for fun and nothing comes out of it. I think that bachelorette parties have more of a chance of hooking up and getting out of control than bachelor parties because they girls go out and the desperate single men think they can get some....

One of the Groomsmen pulled his pants down when he wasn't expecting it. NO, nothing happened and nobody touched him. My brother told me about this and I asked my DH, he reassured me that nothing happened....he is a big clown.
