We're also going to Hawaii for our HM- 5 days- Maui & 5- days in Oahu.

I just got back on saturday
Originally not wanting to travel around too much I booked 5 nights Kauai , 4 nights Oahu and then 2 nights San Fran to adjust to the time change and weather change. On our trip, we cut left Kauai early , only stayed 3 nights and added Maui for 2 nights
We stayed at the Hyatt In Kauai, it was AMAZING. Then the Hyatt in Maui, also amazing. Then the Marriott on Waikiki beach, it was aweful.. we checked out and checked into the Hilton Hawaiian Village, much better.
If I had to do it again.. I would have gone Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. We were not impressed with Oahu. We saw a street fight our first night on the main strip, it has alot of shopping.. impressive if you are from the midwest , but coming from NYC.. I can goto 5th avenue. THe big Island has the erupting volcanos, I wish I went there for 3 nights.
But overall Hawaii is amazing! We did a helicopter ride in Kauai, I was scared to death, but a MUST do. If you book it online in advnace you save $20 per person.
