congrats! Most if my extended family lives in Ireland. When my cousin was getting married (she lived here) her sister got married the year before and she all of the exact same vendors. This was also 1992... pre-internet and communicating and planning a wedding an ocean away was even more difficult.

Galway is gorgeous... I used to spend all of my summers in Ireland... mostly Donegal.

laughinlala - here are some pics...

The first pic is of the hotel - you cant see it too well but its right on the water and has a beautiful view.

The next 2 are pictures of the area (Connemara/Galway). I'm lucky because my parents/all my family live in Ireland so there was no doubt that I'd get married anywhere else. They found this hotel for me and I am so excited! The ceremony will be in a church but I don't have any pictures of it yet.
