My hall is making it. I just had to show them a pix of the cake I wanted and tell them what type of filling....

Hi fellow FT bride! You gave in your cake pic already??? Wow! You're good!!! What a beautiful cake!!
Love the cannoli filling, but FH and my Dad hate it and I'm not fond of chocolate,so it's going to be hard to come to some kind of decision.

My mom and I were there making a pymt,,and I asked about the cake..and she asked if I had a pix,,so I showed it to her and she asked if she can keep it..thats the only reason why I handed it in already.....

BTW..they tried to charge me for the hard icing,,,,BUT we talked them out of it...so do the same..if u want the hard icing...

Marianne said if its buttercream it doesnt need refrigeration, but I think I just don't want it in front of me the whole time. And also since I'm having kids at the reception, I don't want them knocking the cake over or licking the icing off! As Rupee sings they may be 'TEMPTED TO TOUCH!' HAAHAHA!



Not sure what occurs if we use fondant, which I'm willing to pay extra for.
