I really wanted a dress with a blue sash. But I never eded up trying it on. And thank God I didn't because one day FH saw a wedding dress that had color in it and he didn't like it. He voiced his strong opinion. I would have been crushed if I had gotten to blue sash dress!!! I still love it though!

mine was supposed to have a champagne sash, which would have been great with the champagne bridesmaids gowns I picked.

but my mom ordered the champagne in ivory and now the dress isn't half as pretty.

I knew from the beginning I was not going to wear white. I am pretty pale and evey white dress I tried on made me look like casper! I tried on a gold one that was pretty but in the end I picked one in Ice blue and I love it!

i really wanted color too, but most of the wedding dresses i saw that had color i didn't like too much. i ended up finding a dress i absolutely LOVE and ordered it. it's diamond white with a champagne overlay. i'll be adding colored beads to the bottom and switching out the lace in the corset for a colored ribbon. i'll also be wearing a lot of colored jewelry. i figured i'd rather modify something i love then compromist just because it has color.

I defintely want a white dress with color details - either rust or burnt orange. Here are my current favorites...
