RE:Wedding Gifts - Groom

Meh you don't HAVE to.  The gift for my in-laws will be a wedding album.  Same for my parents.  My husband didn't get me anything, but I did surprise him at the wedding with an ice sculpture at the reception.  I wasn't expecting anything from him either, and we had promised each other not to give gifts, but when I saw the low cost, I couldn't help myself.  I had the attendants blindfold us as we entered the reception while our guests were at cocktail hour.  Also, we used that time to have a private first dance as husband and wife.

I agree - overrated. Unless you're that couple that loveesss getting each other gifts, you two have enough to worry about on the big day. The album works great for the parents or getting the moms Robes to match the bridesmaids or something like that. I've heard of getting the moms a bracelet or some type of jewelery.

RE:Wedding Gifts - Groom

I am personally one of those people that love to get people gifts, especially those highly involved in my life and wedding. For our parents we got customized m&ms with photos of them and custom saying like father of the groom, mother of the bride, thank you etc, for our two kids(the flower girl and ring bearer) we got them customized heart shaped m&m cases with their favorite color m&ms inside and got them each these how to be the perfect flower girl/ring bearer kits I got off of etsy. We didn't do gifts for siblings except his two brother which were part of our wedding party. Foe the bridesmaids we got them wedding day emergency kits from Kate spade, customized robes from etsy, and personalized hangers with their name and position in the wedding. For the groomsmen we got them the personalized hangers and personalized custom leather wallets. For my hubby I.got him an album of our while relationship building up to our wedding! He loved it.

I think that's everyone lol

It's all up to you, there is no right or wrong, but I felt like everything they did for us deserved a special thank you :-)

RE:Wedding Gifts - Groom

It is not necessary to give gifts for everyone unless you have a budget. You and your partner can talk about giving a gift to one another or just save the money for the honeymoon.
