wedding songs...

a while back some girls where talking about the wedding songs they had chosen. I have not decided yet, but heard 2 great songs this weekend. "true companion" by marc cohn , and "i finally found someone" by barbara streisand and brian adams. I keep hearing about Jim Brickman - Destiny! i actually never heard of him, and went to several record stores in Nyc and they did not have his cd/tape. any suggestions on where to get a copy of it??

Def. hold off from bugging out until they actually find a place. You never know, they might fall in love with a hall and the day they want (one month before yours) may be booked. So you may luck out. Keep us posted with what happens.

I actually ordered my copy from Columbia House

But on the day of my wedding, I didn't want to commute 2 hours just to get my hair done!

If those don't work, try cdnow.com or cduniverse.com They can order anyhting if they don't have it in stock. Amazon has CDs now too

In addition to the money, should I be giving them a token gift as well? My first guess is no - maybe a personal note thanking them for being a part of my day but I'm not sure what's appropriate.

Any ideas?
