everyone has great ideas.
the biggest thing is the hall. if you havent booked yet, pick off season and off night. if your not stuck on a saturday night like we were.
that is the biggest money saver.
we took the cheapest limos, we only had a 3 minute ride from my house to the church and then 30 minute ride to the hall.
so we went with the cheapest, refered from a friend of a friend.
i made our programs, donation scrolls, almond sacks, put together for favor.
No RD invites, called on phone.
We did donation as a favor. Which saved some $. And we just got a card from one of the places for an event.
I made the petal toss cones.
Ordered invites over the internet at the fraction of the cost of the invite I really wanted from any vendor.
I used clear labels for addressing them b/c the paper would hold any ink and they looke dlike calligraphy
I ordered the BM dresses from the internet saved the girls some$$$
I got their bm gift on ebay coach wristlet bag
and made hair pins from clearance stones i found.
I got their jewelry from the city and bargained with the lady b/c I got the last 4 sets.

I saved about $300 on my letterpress invites by ordering through a Canadian company.

My ceremony is in a courtyard that is filled with flowers and trees, so I didn't need to buy flowers for the ceremony.

I am using only roses for my flowers, so I'm saving big that way.

I bought my dress at a sample sale and saved about $1200 on my dress.

My wedding is on a Friday, so I got a cheaper price per person. Plus, most vendors are available on Friday's so that has made planning easy. No one I've spoken to has been booked.

1.I'm making the STD magnets and programs.
2.Also, items for the wedding like- unity candle, toasting flukes, card box,cake top and ringbearer pillow i'm putting on my Birthday and Christmas wishlist for my Mom and FMIL.
3. We're having a daytime wedding
4. We kept our Bridal Party small- 3 BM, 3GM, 1RB,1FG.
