Very pretty, my only question is when your parents light the tall candles it looks like it will not be easy for them to put them back and then you and DH to be take them to light the middle candle are they too close for you? It looks like it will be awkward, I would be afraid of catching fire. I will say this when we picked up our candles, the wax burnt DH's hand and the wax got on my gloves. It was no big deal but just something to be aware of too.

We were thinking of having just us light them at the ceremony.

Beth, that is one of the prettiest sets I've seen. I also like that it's not set up the way most of them are with the tapers on either side.

ah ok, I always thought the unity candle represented uniting the 2 families together, 1 taper for each family member lights them and then you guys take the candles that your family member lit and unite them?

but thats cute, different. I def like them, its just me to always worry about something going wrong and with fire I dont want to be on those wedding bloopers.

That's one way to do it. But you could also just have the candles represent the couple coming together, but leave the individual tapers lit to represent our individuality which will never be lost.

I just looked it up online, the different variations of the ceremony, and I really liked that one.
